HOW CAN FACTORY RESET MY INTERNET DEVICE?

 
To get started, make sure your Internet Device is connected, powered up and is displaying a green WI-FI signal in the front panel of the device  and / or the green Ethernet light 

Step 1. In your Internet browser, type in the following information in the URL section of the web browser, 192.168.1.1 and then hit enter. (See Example):
IF YOU CAN NOT ACCESS THE DEVICE’S INTERNAL WEB PAGE, THEN SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE FOR ADDITIONAL SUPPORT.

Step 2. Enter the password to access the modem, the default password is the word “admin”. (See Example):

 

Step 3. You will now be at the 4GAS Internet device home page, now look for a section that says ADVANCED SETTINGS and click on that link. (See Example):

Step 4. After you click on the ADVANCED settings link above, you will now have access to ADVANCED SETTINGS Menu, click on the OTHERS button. (See Example):

Step 5. After you click on the OTHERS button above, you will now have access to OTHERS Menu options, click on the RESET FACTORY SETTINGS button to reset the modem back to factory settings. (See Example):

 
Completed. Your modem will now reboot itself and reset back to it’s original settings.
 

ADDITIONAL SUPPORT FOR FACTORY RESET?

In case you can not follow the guide above, you may have manually factory reset the device by hand.
To start this process we recommend to have the following handy:

 

  • Your 4GAS Internet Device plugged in and powered up.
  • A paper clip or small instrument to fit in the back of the device.

Follow the illustration below to manually reset the 4GAS Internet device:
Look to the back of the modem and find the reset hole shown below.

Then enter a paper clip inside that hole until you here a click and hold it down for 10 seconds.
Your modem will now reboot itself and reset back to it’s original settings.

Reminder: All lights will light up on your 4GAS Internet device and then the boot up sequence will start.
